[Mar 11, 2020] Around the world everyone was fighting against the pandemic. A lot of uncertainty ahead but, every country was also trying to cheer up their citizen. Nothing like sports can give us energy and hopes.

The National Shooting Team of China has made a nice attempt to conduct a nationwide tournament “on the cloud” while keeping social distancing. Cogent was asked to provide the technical solutions for that.

Four teams from different provinces conduct the tournament at their own venue with the National Team while they were all linked with live streaming videos that the whole processes were in synchronization. The events were also streamed in live to the public on various media platforms.

The challenges were the venues are miles away from each other, and each venue will have multi-angle shootings and complicated scenario switching.

Cogent has put multi encoders at each sites, and all managed by our SMH (Stream Media Hub) which allows remote control and monitoring in real time. The tournament was successfully conducted on 6^th to 7^th in March 2020.
