The NanoSat 98Ku/Ka 0.98m antenna provides a compact dual band manual solution for use by broadcasters and other commercial customers, for high data rate uplinks in satellite edge of coverage areas. At Ku band it provides a quality solution to the small antenna requirement while at Ka band it also gives a useful gain improvement by almost 3dB over typical 75cm designs with the same reflector diameter. It has a simple tripod mount with manual azimuth and elevation adjustment. The electrical interface is the waveguide flange with adapters to interface with commonly used TRIA’s used by the major Ka networks. These include Intelsat (Worldwide),Tooway (Eutelsat, Europe), GX (Inmarsat Worldwide) and Exede (ViaSat US). The antenna is packed in two bags, under 23kg and complying with IATA maximum dimensions.
